Baby Showers

April 17th:

I had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower for Danielle and Lily in April!  We had wanted to wait until after she was born mainly because Danielle didn't know if she was having a boy or girl.  We also wanted to wait until my grandparents were back from wintering in Texas!

Danielle was blessed with many wonderful gifts.  She enjoyed getting PINK!

We had a fun afternoon with friends and family.  Lily was a perfect angel!

May 14th:

Danielle's friends Lyssa and Emily hosted a shower for her in May with their high school group of friends and their moms!  

The food was amazing!  Emily made the cute little baby buggie to hold the fruit!

McKenna got to attend the first 20 minutes of the shower.  The girls wanted us to bring her so some of them could meet her for the first time!  She didn't last long though, asking for blankey and paci soon after we got there.  Daddy came and picked her up and they headed home for a nap!

Danielle again was blessed with many wonderful gifts.  One of her favorite books as a kid was Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.  It is now sitting on a shelf in Lily's room!

Pretty amazing that this group of girls still keep in contact!

I have to say I'm pretty sad that baby showers for Danielle and I are now over... :(  It is something I looked forward to as a kid and I can't believe I'm at this point in my life!  I guess I can look forward to attending baby showers for my grandkids!  Okay, I won't go that far.  For now, we are just going to enjoy our girls and thank God everyday for the precious gifts He's given US!
