"Puppy"

Lately McKenna has started cuddling up next to Lexi, trying to lay on her. One of the reasons we got a Lab is because they are good with kids. Lexi definitely has not let us down! She is great with McKenna. She lets her pull on her ears, poke her in the eyes (and sometimes close to under her tail- yes, GROSS!), kiss her, as well as pull out handfuls of her hair.

For as long as I can remember we have referred to Lexi as "puppy". I joked that this would be her first word. Well, I can proudly announce that McKenna now can say "puppy"!!! It is now a word that she uses for EVERY animal she sees... we will continue to work on that!

Lexi is protecting herself... :)
