Labor Day Weekend

We had a very busy Labor Day weekend!

Friday night we went out to eat with Grandpa and Grandma Lindgren at OP and then headed over to Aunt Paula's to hang out with Matt's family. Anthony, Carsen, and McKenna had a lot of fun playing together! Carsen is about 2.5 months older than McKenna and this was our first time meeting her!

McKenna and Carsen decided they would fight each other for the toys. They had all of us laughing so hard I almost peed my pants!

Saturday McKenna and I went shopping with my mom in Waterloo. We were there ALL afternoon!
After her very late afternoon nap (due to our long shopping trip) we hung out with friends for the evening. McKenna enjoyed her first bonfire!

Sunday after church we were able to catch Kim and Larkyn quick. They were back only for the day and had a lot of people to see! McKenna only hit and tackled Larkyn once (maybe twice). The poor thing cried when McKenna yelled. We are working on how to act around our friends... :)

Now we just need to get the girls dressing the same, right Kim?!

Sunday afternoon we stopped by Jasmine's birthday party at the park. McKenna enjoyed watching the kids play from her stroller! The mosquitoes started coming out so we had to pack up early.

Monday afternoon we spent the day hanging out and cleaning up from a long week and busy weekend. How I love three day weekends!! Monday night we experienced McKenna's first time getting sick... not the way we had planned to end such a fun weekend. Read the next post to find out more!
