McKenna went for her first bike ride with Ella in the Burley on Monday night. They rode from our house to Matt and Danielle's (4 houses away) and back! Ella had her arm around McKenna the whole time, it was so cute!
Matt and Danielle just got the pieces we needed to get the Burley back up and running. Our bike was stolen with the attachment on it and then Nahla chewed part of the Burley! My dad bought the Burley at a garage sale for Ella when she was really little for like $25. Good find dad! We (Garvins and us) just bought new bikes, so we are really excited to start using the Burley again with the girls!

Hi Krista! I just happened to run across your blog... You have such a cute daughter!! I love the pictures you've posted!
I wanted to let you know that I ran into the same issue for my son and a bike helmet. In my search, I happened upon a man who is a bike safety specialist and he told me it is VERY dangerous to put a helmet on a child under 1 year old. He told me the weight of the helmet can be very dangerous for the child's neck/spine in an accident or even a bumpy ride.
Thought you might want to find more information on that before you went helmet hunting!
