My birthday happens to fall on Spring Break every year and it's the best!! I've only had to go to school once on my birthday and that's when I was student teaching!
My mom and I started the morning off getting pedicures together. We dropped McKenna off at Grandma Jeanie's to play for a bit. After our pedis we picked McKenna up and headed to Waterloo to do some shopping. It ended up that McKenna and Ella made out! Mommy didn't buy anything for herself!!
McKenna ended up falling asleep in the stroller. This was a pretty big surprise for my mom and me! We decided to keep shopping while she slept and then eat lunch when she got up. It was close to 2:00 before we made it to Carlos O'Kellys (mommy's favorite!). All three of us were starving!!
When we got home Grandma Tami headed to the Garvins while we headed home for a nap. I kept my fingers crossed that she would lay down for a bit- this didn't really happen, but mommy did dose off a little bit getting some much needed rest! (Come to find out McKenna had a poopy diaper- no wonder she didn't want to sleep!)
We headed to Matt and Danielle's for pizza and dessert with the gang. This was our first walk of the season outside!
McKenna got to hold Lily for the first time. So sweet!
