If the weather is decent after school I let McKenna play outside while I get the mail and let Lexi out. One day I was playing frisbee with Lexi while McKenna drug out the shovels and brooms from the garage! After playing for a bit she headed back into the garage. I wasn't quite sure what she was up to, but she was within sight so I felt comfortable letting her play. All of a sudden she comes running out on a mission to find Lexi. "Here Lex, here Lex." She ran all the way down the sidewalk to give Lexi ONE piece of dog food! She then turned around ran back into the garage and a few seconds later came running back with ONE more piece! It was the sweetest thing to watch!
McKenna did this a few more times before the frisbee game was over. As Lexi and I walked back to the garage we found McKenna in Lexi's dog food container! I had figured she'd found a few stray pieces on the floor. I had no idea she was actually digging in the food container!!
She going to be a track athlete someday! :)
