Last Wednesday night we went to the UNI men's basketball game. It was McKenna's first Panther game!! They played Wichita State which was a big game for them- which also meant a large crowd. We decided to leave the car seat in the car, knowing that there wouldn't be anywhere to put our stuff. We had a slight mix up with our seats, so McKenna and I ended up sitting with Pat, Kami, and Alaina Galles, as well as our friend Ashley! Matt was able to find a seat on the floor with his brother and some of their friends. We got lucky, as we thought we may be standing the whole game! :)
I tried to plan things perfectly- meaning feed McKenna before we left so that she would sleep and be a happy girl at the game! She was a perfect little Panther fan. She loved looking around at everything. It ended up being really close the entire game. We were up and down in our seats one hundred times- okay not one hundred! I forgot how loud it gets in the McLeod Center! McKenna fell asleep at one of the loudest points in the game! The Panthers ended up winning the game. They are now 20-2. Go Cats!
