Daddy's 30th Birthday

We've been celebrating daddy's birthday for a few weeks now!! I guess that is what happens when you turn 30!!

McKenna, Matt, and I celebrated at Old Chicago on his actual birthday, February 8th. McKenna enjoyed her first hamburger at a restaurant. Uncle Matt recently taught her how to dip food in ketchup. I'm pretty sure she had more ketchup than hamburger! We finally had to ask the waitress to take the bottle away so she would stop asking for "mo"!!

When we got home daddy opened his presents.

A new UNI t-shirt and

tickets to the Heat/Timberwolves game in April!

Daddy was pretty surprised with his gift! He couldn't believe mommy bought them! We are looking forward to our first NBA game in April!

The following Sunday we went out to eat at Village Inn so that we could celebrate both Matt's birthdays (Garvin turned 26 on February 15th) and then had cake and ice cream on Valentine's Day.

We always make the boys take a picture together with their cake. It's become a big joke as one of them always looks goofy in the picture. We aren't sure if it is on purpose! :)

Our good friend Kami turns 30 on March 8th so we decided to have a joined birthday party for the two of them at Mulligan's Friday night. It was a great excuse to get friends and family together! My parents took McKenna overnight so that we could both enjoy a night out with friends.

We had a great turn out for the party- over 100 people!

It was super hot with everyone packed in such a small area!

Here's to the birthday kids!

I hope you had a memorable 30th daddy! Looking forward to celebrating again in April! Love you!
