Friends

Over Thanksgiving break we were able to spend some time with some of our closest friends. We've found it's a lot harder getting together now that we have kids!!

Tom and Jamie were back from Columbus, Ohio for the holiday weekend. This was their first time back since they moved at the end of June. We were sooo anxious to see them since we knew the kids had changed a ton!

Thursday night we all got babysitters and headed out on the town. We started at the Oaklands so that we could catch up a bit before heading to Toads. The girls sat on one side of the room, ooing and ahhing over baby Eli, the Oakland's family pictures, and the photo books Jamie brought of the kids while the boys chatted about boy stuff. Before we knew it they were modeling sport coats, what?! :) I guess Nate was cleaning house getting ready to take things to Good Will so he thought he would have the boys try them on. As it ended up they decided to wear them to the bar, yes the bar!!

Before leaving we had the babysitter take a quick picture of us. I'm not sure who decided on the "prom pose", but I guess that's what we went with! This isn't the greatest picture (due to all the laughing) but it's the only one we have!

The boys left for a bit to head across to the Blueroom to do who knows what. They left us to pay the bills- let's just say our bills were a lot more than expected!!!

We had a great night out together. This was the first time out that one of us wasn't pregnant, so let's just say we had a BLAST! :)

Friday morning we had a get together with all our kids. The parents were a bit tired but the little ones were ready to play! It was so much fun watching them interact with one another. The moms were adamant that we get a group shot of the gang. We were all AMAZED at how well it went this time!

The girls had a dance party in the playroom to Christmas music. When it was time to leave they tried a group hug- McKenna wasn't so sure! :)

Times like this make us wish we were able to get together more often! Thanks everyone for an extremely amazing time together! Can't wait for the next time!
