We got to the hospital about 10:50 for our 11:00 appointment. McKenna cried most of the ride to Waterloo- she had woken up from her nap and she was hungry! I planned to feed her as soon as we got to the waiting room. We barely sat down and we were called! (This never happens to me I swear!!) McKenna continued to cry through most of the procedure. It didn't help that she was naked, hungry, and had her legs pinned down to the table. It wasn't fun watching her- mommy held back tears while daddy had a upset stomach. I kept looking at the screen thinking- is this normal? I asked the ultrasound tech if he could tell us how it looked and of course he couldn't say anything. He told us the doctor would read it, send it over to our doctor, and then she would call us hopefully by Wednesday. WEDNESDAY?? I couldn't believe they were going to make us wait two days to find out the results, although it did make me feel better because I figured if something was seriously wrong he would have it sent in right away to be looked at.
After McKenna's appointment we ran upstairs quick because I also had an appointment. There was no one in the waiting room and we got called in before we even sat down! (Again- this NEVER happens to me!) The nurses were really excited to see McKenna! I finally was able to feed her quick before we left!
I had to keep the tradition alive of stopping at Sonic after my appointment!! (After every prenatal appointment I stopped there on my way home! Matt and Matt even went to Sonic for me after I delivered!!) Their cherry limeade drink has become one of my favorites! We picked up lunch for our good friend Kami as well. Matt used to work at VGM with her so it was fun getting to show all of his old co-workers little Miss McKenna! She didn't even make a peep while we were there- yeah!
On the way home I ended up calling Dr. Wahidi's nurse for a question about McKenna's stools. I also had her ask Dr. when she thought the ultrasound results would be in. About an hour later the nurse called back to let us know everything was NORMAL!!! I hung up the phone with a huge sigh of relief. Praise God that our baby girl is okay!

**You can see the pore in her ear on the picture on the left.
