We celebrated Matt’s 32nd birthday on Friday, February 8th. It was fun being able to celebrate his birthday as well our first day at home as a family of four!
Kamryn’s first official outing was to my parent’s house late afternoon on Friday! My Uncle Jeff, Aunt Cyndi, and cousins Cody and Chelsy, along with Cody’s girlfriend Veronica came up to Cedar Falls, as they had tickets for the Alan Jackson concert on Saturday at the McLeod Center. They were hoping our baby would cooperate and come a little early (my due date was Sunday). They were thrilled that they were able to meet Kamryn!
While trying to burp Kamryn she found her thumb for the first time! Of course we had to get a picture of it! :)
Daddy requested Death by Chocolate for his birthday dessert. I was pretty proud of myself for granting his request!
Saturday morning we headed back to to my parent’s to spend more time with my family. The girls were spoiled with Valentine bags LOADED with little treats. Aunt Cyndi loves holidays and orders from Oriental Trading on a regular basis! The whoopie cushions were a HUGE hit!
We headed home while everyone else headed to Los Cabos for a yummy Mexican supper before the concert! It felt weird not being able to go as well!
Grandpa Tim and Grandma Jeanie were planning to bring over supper and hang out for the evening to celebrate Matt’s birthday. While we waited for them to arrive McKenna watched some t.v. for her rest time, as she had had a no nap day. McKenna told me she was babysitting her sister. What a perfect spot!
Grandpa and Grandma brought over presents for Kamryn, McKenna, mommy, and birthday presents for daddy! We’re spoiled! :)
Our daycare provider stopped over quick after Matt’s parents left. She just couldn’t wait any longer to meet baby Kamryn!
Instead of taking a 40 week belly picture we took one with the “It’s a Girl” sticker! My due date was Sunday. Thank you baby girl for coming a little early because I had no plans of going over February 10th!
Happy Birthday weekend Daddy! We love you so much and are so thankful for you!
