Pumpkin Patch

We went to Heartland Farms to their pumpkin patch on Friday. It was an absolutely perfect night! I put Kenna in jeans because I was worried about bugs, but it was definitely shorts weather!

We started at the blow up pumpkin. McKenna enjoyed watching Ella jump! We decided to get pictures out of the way at the beginning... Ella was too excited to play and McKenna was scared of the pumpkins- needless to say we didn't end up getting a good picture of them... maybe next year!

Riding the horsey with Ella and Grandma Tami

McKenna was quite crabby for a little while. After we took her shoes off she was a happy camper! We're wondering if they were too small!

Checking out the animals with Grandma Jeanie

I love this picture of her! She now loves the pumpkins!

McKenna kept switching spots with me. I would jump into the next hole so we could get a picture!

A little over 2 feet this year!

The Pumpkinator! This thing was awesome! It would shoot pumpkins way out into the field.

The blow up pumpkin was empty so we let McKenna crawl around and bounce in it! Even mommy did some jumping!

I'm sad to say McKenna's first hayride was not from my Grandpa Pete! (I guess she did get to ride at our family reunion while I was pregnant!) We were bummed we didn't get to sit on hay!!
We had a big group- The Lindgrens, Garvins, 1/2 of the Habincks, Grandma Tami, and Grandma Jeanie!

Watching the kids jump

My mom plopped Kenna in the wheelbarrow full of pumpkins. She didn't know what to think. She kept saying "Uh-oh!"

Her "uh-ohs" continued!!

One of my favorite things is McKenna's squeal when she's excited. She LOVED going down the slide and kept pointing to it when she was done to tell us she wanted to do it again!

Time to head home- McKenna is sad!

Our plan was to go to the CF football game after but we didn't end up leaving the pumpkin farm until 7:00. Our decision was made when we realized McKenna had fallen asleep on the ride home! We went home instead!

We look forward to adding this to our list of traditions. I'm sure McKenna will have even more fun next year!
