McKenna is three months old today! Where has the time gone?! We had her three month pictures taken on Monday. The guy at JcPennys did a wonderful job and got some great smiles. McKenna was PERFECT during the entire session. This is a change from her newborn and 1 month pictures!
McKenna is changing daily. She is not a newborn anymore! She has been such a good baby for us. We've been blessed with a great sleeper from the beginning. I think God knew that I needed a good sleeper otherwise things at our house would be a mess! She normally eats around 8-9, goes down around 10, and then gets up around 7. Amazing if you ask me!
A little over a week ago McKenna really found her hands. She's always liked her hands and has always had them up at her face. (Even in utero!) McKenna now likes to suck on her finger(s) after she eats. Sunday night she went to town on her thumb. This was the first time we had seen her do this! She has also started putting her hands on her bottle, rubbing her head, rubbing my neck, as well as pulling my hair!
Here are some more things McKenna likes:
*sitting in her bouncy seat kicking her legs as fast as she can (Ella says she's riding her bike!)
*laying on the floor under her toy batting at the hanging toys which makes the music change
*cooing
*smiling
*baths (she likes to pee as soon as she gets in- she's only pooped once!)
*her blanket and pacifier- she is in LOVE with her blankie!
*holding onto her hanging toys in her bouncy and car seat
*taking naps in her bouncy
*being held horizontally with one arm tucked under your arm
*holding onto my shirt while nursing
*reading books
*"playing" with her rainstick, rattle, and flower
*moving in her crib- I find her with one arm out the slats of her crib every morning!
*blowing bubbles with her saliva
These are the things McKenna doesn't like:
*tummy time (although she's getting better)
*when I pick boogies out of her nose :)
*burping- she screams bloody murder when we try to burp her. I sometimes wait until she's finished eating which normally ends in her spitting up everywhere!
*when you sit down when she's fussy- she likes to be walked around. She will wake up as soon as you sit down- ugh! :)
