The Waiting Game

Well, 12 days after hearing "you better get everything ready because it could be any day now", I'm still working and pregnant! I knew this could happen, but I have to stay it's kind of annoying! We are ready at home and have been for awhile now, but it's school that is stressing me out. It's really hard to leave everyday not knowing if I'll be back the next day. I lay everything out with post-it notes with directions just in case. Then I get to school the next day and throw them all out! It's a lot of extra work for me, but I guess it's better to be safe then sorry! My sub and I have met numerous times now and she's even watched me teach for a day. I can't tell you how much better I felt last Friday after meeting with her!

My family was in Chicago last weekend for Danielle's first marathon. She finished with a smile on her face! I think we are all glad that the race is over. (Danielle and I were both really worried I'd have this baby when they were all gone!)

I had my 39 week appointment on Wednesday of this week. I am now dilated to a 3 and still 50% effaced- making some progress! She told me again this week they won't let me go a week over my due date, so that means we'll have an October baby for sure!

Tomorrow is my dad's birthday. He is pretty sure the baby is going to come tomorrow. I guess we'll just have to wait and see! :)
