Before we ate supper at Matt's parents McKenna got to open her Easter basket from them- a new laptop! Jeanie knew how obsessed McKenna is with our computer, so when she saw it she just had to get it!
One of Grandpa Tim's work friends sent this rocking horse to him to keep at his house for McKenna to play with! We tried getting a couple pictures of her on it to send to them. She's still a bit scared of the horsey, but we know she will grow to love it in the future!!
We didn't end up getting back to our house until 7:30-8:00 and McKenna hadn't had a chance to see what the Easter Bunny had brought her! Because it was so late we were going to wait until the next day, but then we decided we didn't want to break tradition!
The Easter Bunny did a great job this year knowing all of her favorites!! He brought Curious George bandaids, a book: Curious George Happy Easter, a butterfly spray bottle, a stuffed animal Mickey Mouse, a Mickey Mouse coloring book, crayons, markers, a large coloring pad, and a lawn chair!
It was so much fun watching McKenna hunt for eggs. She would run from egg to egg, picking up two or three before coming back to put them in her basket.
After shaking an egg she realized their was candy in them- M&Ms and jelly beans!
Ready to look for more!
After the egg hunt she relaxed in her new chair admiring her new "Pipsqueak" markers!
What a wonderful day spent with the people we love celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!
